How to Draw an I Love You Text
Draw an I love you text in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a big i.
Step 1: A big I
Near the top left draw a fat bubble I: a tall stem with bars across the top and bottom.
Step 2: YOU underneath
Under it write YOU in fat bubble letters: a Y, an O with a hole, and a U.
Step 3: The big heart
Beside the I draw a big heart: a dip on top, 2 round bumps, and a point at the bottom.
Step 4: Two big eyes
On the heart draw 2 big round eyes close together, with a black dot and white shine in each.
Step 5: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a tiny sideways oval beside each end for rosy cheeks.
Step 6: Tiny hearts
Draw 2 tiny hearts, one beside the Y and one beside the U.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars near the top, one left of the I and one right of the heart.
Step 8: The floor
Draw a straight floor line under the words from left to right, so the letters stand on it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, pink hearts
Colour the sparkles yellow, and colour the tiny hearts and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Red I
Colour the I red, keeping inside its outline.
Step 11: Red YOU
Colour the letters of YOU red, and leave the hole in the O white.
Step 12: Red heart
Colour the heart red around the pink cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Go over your lines to finish.
