How to Draw a Huggable Blue Monster
Draw a huggable blue monster in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Near the top, draw a big head lying like an egg on its side. Make it almost half the monster.
Step 2: Horns and fur
Draw 2 short curved horns on the head. Add 3 soft fur bumps between them and on each cheek.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Below the head's middle, draw 2 big round eyes, a gap apart. Add a black dot and shine in each.
Step 4: Little round nose
Under the eyes, in the middle, draw a small round nose, half as big as an eye.
Step 5: Toothy grin
Under the nose, draw a big U grin from cheek to cheek. Hang 3 pointy teeth from it.
Step 6: Round belly
Under the head, draw a big pear body, widest low down. It is narrower than the head.
Step 7: Mitten arms
From under each cheek, draw a fat sausage arm. Bend it in to a round mitten on the tummy.
Step 8: Legs and big feet
On each side of the belly, draw a round C leg and a big flat foot, toes pointing out.
Step 9: Spots and ground
Draw 4 round spots on the tummy between the arms. Draw the ground under the big feet.
Step 10: Blue fur, light spots
Go over your lines. Colour the spots light blue, then the monster blue around them.
Tip Leave the eyes and teeth white.
Step 11: Grey horns, dark nose
Colour the horns grey and the round nose dark navy blue.
