How to Draw a Hot Tub
Draw a hot tub in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
Near the middle of your paper, draw a big flat oval, much wider than tall, for the rim.
Tip Leave room above it for the steam.
Step 2: The round tub
Start at the oval's left end. Draw straight down, curve under like a smile, and up to the right end.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the front of the tub draw 2 big round eyes a finger apart. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye, and a little oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: The inside edge
Inside the big oval draw a smaller flat oval, a finger in from the edge, for the water.
Step 6: Bubbles
On the water draw 7 round bubbles, some big and some small, spread from side to side.
Tip A hot tub blows bubbles up through warm water.
Step 7: Wooden planks
On each side of the face, draw 2 lines straight down, from the rim to the bottom edge.
Tip Keep the lines away from the face.
Step 8: Steam
Above the tub draw 3 wiggly lines going up, the middle one tallest. They float just above the rim.
Step 9: The ground
Draw a ground line from edge to edge, just touching the bottom of the tub.
Step 10: Cheeks and water
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, then the water light blue, around the bubbles.
Tip Leave the bubbles white.
Step 11: Grey rim
Colour the rim light grey, all the way around the water.
Step 12: Brown wood
Colour the wooden side brown, around the face. Leave the eyes white. Your hot tub is ready!
