How to Draw a Honey Badger
Draw a honey badger in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the left of your paper, draw a wide head with a flat top, narrowing to a round chin.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big eyes, a snout below, a black nose, and a line from it down to a w smile.
Tip The snout sits inside the face, below the eyes, not hanging under the chin.
Step 3: The ears
On each side of the head, near the top, draw a tiny half-circle ear poking out.
Step 4: The body
From behind the head, draw a long bean body: along the back, round a big bottom, under to the chin.
Tip No neck: the low head sits right in front of the shoulders.
Step 5: Two legs
Draw a ground line. Add a front leg under the chest and a back leg under the bottom.
Tip Each leg gets thinner at the ankle and ends in a round paw pointing forward, with 2 toe lines.
Step 6: The far legs
Behind each leg, draw a thinner far leg peeking out, down to a round paw on the ground.
Step 7: The tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a short fluffy banana tail pointing out and down.
Step 8: The pale back
Start on the head above the eyes. Draw a line across it, then along the side to the tail.
Tip Everything above the line is the pale cap and back that make it a honey badger.
Step 9: Colour the markings
Colour the pale cap and back cream, and the snout grey.
Step 10: Colour it slate
Go over your lines. Colour the head, ears, body, legs and tail slate, around the cream and grey.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
