How to Draw a Hockey Puck
Draw a hockey puck in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top.
Step 1: The top
A little above the middle, draw 1 big flat oval, wide and low, for the top of the puck.
Tip Very wide and very flat: about 3 times wider than tall.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the oval, draw 2 big round eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 3: A smile
Start under the left eye. Draw a wide U smile and stop under the right eye.
Step 4: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile, leaving a big gap, draw a small sideways oval cheek.
Step 5: The thick side
Start at the oval's left point. Draw down a thumb, curve under the puck, and up to the right point.
Tip The puck is a short fat tube.
Step 6: The ice line
Draw a straight ice line right across the paper, touching the bottom of the puck.
Step 7: Sparkles
Add 3 small sparkle stars around the puck, 2 up high and 1 low on the right.
Step 8: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 3 sparkle stars yellow.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Dark grey puck
Colour the puck dark grey, going around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your hockey puck is done!
