How to Draw a Lipstick
Draw a lipstick in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the case.
Step 1: The case
Low on your paper draw a tall box standing up, nearly twice as tall as wide, with soft round corners.
Tip Leave room above it for the lipstick tip.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the case draw 2 big egg eyes side by side. Add a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile, and a small flat cheek at each end.
Step 4: The inner tube
On top of the case draw a shorter, slightly narrower box that sits on it.
Step 5: The lipstick tip
On the tube draw the lipstick: 2 sides straight up, then a slanted top, higher on the left.
Tip The slant is what makes it look like lipstick.
Step 6: A thin band
Draw 1 line across the case a little below its top, like a ring.
Step 7: Shine
Draw a thin long oval up the left side of the lipstick tip for a shine.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 4 little sparkles in the air around the lipstick, 2 on each side.
Step 9: Table line
Draw a long straight table line under the case, reaching past the sparkles on both sides.
Step 10: Gold tube, sparkles
Go over your lines. Colour the tube and the 4 sparkles yellow, and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red lipstick
Colour the lipstick tip and the band red, leaving the shine white.
Step 12: Black case
Colour the case black below the band, around the face. Leave the eyes and the smile white.
