How to Draw a Necklace
Draw a necklace in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the chain.
Step 1: The chain
Draw a big egg-shaped loop, wide near the top and a little narrower at the bottom.
Tip Make the loop big so the beads have room.
Step 2: The clasp
At the very top of the loop, draw a tiny box sitting over the line.
Step 3: A hanging loop
At the bottom of the chain, draw a small teardrop hanging down: round on top, a point below.
Step 4: Heart charm
Under the teardrop, draw a big heart, with its dip on the teardrop's point.
Step 5: Two big beads
A little way up each side from the teardrop, draw a round bead sitting on the chain.
Step 6: Two oval beads
Further up each side, draw a long oval bead lying along the chain.
Step 7: Two smaller beads
Higher up each side, draw a smaller round bead on the chain.
Step 8: Two tiny beads
Higher still, where the loop is widest, draw 1 tiny round bead on each side.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars beside the heart, like plus signs with curvy arms. Make one bigger.
Step 10: Yellow gold
Go over your lines. Colour the clasp, the teardrop, the oval beads, the tiny beads and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Blue beads
Colour the 2 big beads and the 2 smaller round beads light blue.
Step 12: Red heart
Colour the heart red, leaving a small white shine near its top. Your necklace is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a necklace, drawn by you.
