How to Draw a High Chair

11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a high chair in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tall back.

Print

  1. Step 1: The tall back

Near the top draw a tall back rest: a rounded top like a loaf, straight sides, flat bottom at middle.

Tip Leave lots of room under it: a high chair has long legs!

  2. Step 2: The seat

Across the bottom of the back draw a flat box, a little wider than the back, for the seat.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

On the back rest draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a U smile from eye to eye, with a small oval cheek beside each end.

  5. Step 5: Tray and posts

Below the face draw a long tray across the back, and a short post each side down to the seat.

  6. Step 6: Four long legs

Under the seat draw 2 long legs leaning out, then 2 back legs peeking in between, all ending level.

  7. Step 7: The footrest

Halfway down the legs draw a flat bar from the left leg across to the right leg for the footrest.

  8. Step 8: Sparkles and floor

Add 4 sparkles in the air, and a straight floor line under the legs from well left to well right.

  9. Step 9: Pink cheeks

Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink.

  10. Step 10: Yellow back and seat

Colour the back rest, posts and seat yellow around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.

  11. Step 11: Blue tray, wood legs

Colour the tray blue, and the legs and footrest wood brown. Your high chair is ready for lunch!
