How to Draw a Heart with Wings
Draw a heart with wings in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big heart.
Step 1: The big heart
Just below the middle, draw a big heart: 2 round humps on top and a point at the bottom.
Tip Leave room on both sides for the wings.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Across the middle of the heart, draw 2 big egg eyes half an eye apart, with black dots.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from the left eye to the right. Add cheeks at each end.
Step 4: Two wing tops
On each side, start on the heart's hump and draw a long arch out to a round tip.
Step 5: Finger feathers
From each wing tip, draw 3 round finger feathers stepping down. Stop at the widest part of the heart.
Step 6: Small feathers
Inside each wing, start at the heart and draw 2 small bumps out below the wing top.
Step 7: Feather lines
In each wing, draw 2 lines from the points between the finger feathers up to the small bumps.
Step 8: The shine
In the heart's left hump, draw a small tilted oval for a shine.
Step 9: Hearts and sparkles
Low beside the big heart, draw a tiny heart on each side, and a 4-point sparkle below each wing.
Step 10: Pink and yellow
Colour the cheeks and the tiny hearts pink, and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Sky-blue wings
Colour both wings sky blue, from the round tips right up to the heart.
Step 12: Red heart
Colour the heart red around the pink cheeks, leaving the eyes and the shine white. Your flying heart is done!
