How to Draw Heart Toast
Draw heart toast in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the plate.
Step 1: The plate
In the middle of the page draw a big round plate, leaving a little space all round.
Tip Everything goes inside the plate, so draw it big.
Step 2: The rim
Inside the plate draw a second round, a finger in from the edge, for the rim.
Step 3: The toast
Inside the rim draw a big heart that nearly fills it, with a soft point at the bottom.
Step 4: The crust
Inside the heart draw a smaller heart, a finger in from the edge all the way round, for the crust.
Step 5: Butter
In the middle of the toast draw a flat slanted square, like a little tile seen from above.
Step 6: Butter edge
Start at the tile's bottom left corner. Go down a bit, across, and up to the bottom right corner.
Step 7: Melting drips
Under the butter hang 2 U drips, a long one in the middle and a short one on the right.
Step 8: Toasty spots
Draw 4 small ovals on the toast inside the crust line, away from the butter, for toasty spots.
Step 9: Yellow butter, sand middle
Colour the butter, its edge and drips yellow. Colour the middle sand, around the butter and spots.
Step 10: Tan crust and spots
Colour the crust between the 2 hearts tan, and the toasty spots tan too.
Step 11: Sky rim
Colour the rim of the plate sky blue. Your heart toast is ready!
