How to Draw Cobb Salad
Draw Cobb salad in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: plate and rim.
Step 1: Plate and rim
In the middle draw a big round plate, then a second round a finger inside it for the rim.
Step 2: A bed of lettuce
Inside the rim draw a big frilly round with lots of small soft bumps, nearly filling the plate.
Tip A Cobb salad lines up its toppings in neat rows over the lettuce.
Step 3: Egg slices
Down the left of the lettuce draw a row of 3 oval egg slices, each with a round yolk.
Step 4: Bacon bits
Beside the eggs draw a row of 4 thin blocks with soft corners, top to bottom, for bacon.
Step 5: Avocado
Beside the bacon draw a row of 4 fat avocado slices, each curved like a little moon.
Step 6: Tomato
Beside the avocado draw a row of 4 half-round tomato pieces, flat side down.
Step 7: Chicken
Beside the tomato draw a row of 4 chunky chicken blocks with soft corners.
Step 8: Cheese crumbles
Down the right of the lettuce draw a row of 3 wobbly cheese crumbles.
Step 9: White egg and cheese
Go over your lines. Colour the egg slices and cheese crumbles white, and the yolks yellow.
Step 10: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the lettuce.
Step 11: Avocado and chicken
Colour the avocado light green and the chicken tan.
Step 12: Green lettuce
Colour the lettuce green, around the toppings.
Step 13: Red tomato, brown bacon
Colour the tomato red and the bacon brown, and your Cobb salad is ready!
