How to Draw a Heart Organ
Draw a heart organ in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big heart.
Step 1: The big heart
Start at a small dip at the top. Draw 2 round humps and a soft point, back to the dip.
Tip Big and chunky: it is the whole body.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Below the widest part of each hump draw a big egg eye, one eye apart. Add a dot and shine.
Step 3: Laughing mouth
Under the eyes draw a flat lip and a deep U. Add a curved tongue and 2 round cheeks.
Step 4: The big arch
From the dip draw a fat arch over and down behind the right hump. Add 3 stubby branches on top.
Tip This big tube carries blood out, so make it fat.
Step 5: Two little tubes
Left of the arch draw 2 upright tubes, a tall one and a short one, each with an oval top.
Step 6: A smooth vein
Just under where the arch meets the right hump, draw a smooth vein down the side, stopping beside the eye.
Step 7: Heartbeat and sparkles
Out on the left draw a heartbeat line: flat, a spike up, a dip down, flat again. Add 2 sparkles.
Step 8: Pink and yellow
Colour the cheeks and the tongue pink, and the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 9: Red heart
Colour the heart, arch and branches red around the cheeks and mouth, leaving the eyes and a shine white.
Step 10: Blue and black
Colour the 2 little tubes blue and the mouth black around the tongue. Your heart is beating!
