How to Draw a Parallelogram
Draw a parallelogram in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: bottom and sides.
Step 1: Bottom and sides
Draw a long flat line low down. From each end, slant a line up to the right. Stop both level.
Tip The 2 slanted lines lean the same way and never meet, like train tracks.
Step 2: Flat top line
Start at the top of the left slant. Draw a flat line and stop at the right slant's top.
Tip It is as long as the bottom line: opposite sides always match.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the parallelogram draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Tip Leave a small gap between the eyes.
Step 4: Big smile
Leave a gap under the eyes, then draw a wide U smile from under one eye to the other.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Under the outside of each eye, clear of the smile, draw a small sideways oval for a cheek.
Step 6: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars on each side of the parallelogram, one high and one low.
Step 7: The floor
From each bottom corner, draw a floor line straight out to the side. Stop near the paper's edge.
Tip The floor carries straight on from the bottom line.
Step 8: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks rosy pink.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Orange parallelogram
Go over your lines and colour the parallelogram orange, around the pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. You're done!
