How to Draw Christmas Cookies
Draw Christmas cookies in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a big plate.
Step 1: A big plate
Draw a big wide oval for the plate. Draw a second oval just inside it for the rim.
Tip Make the plate nearly as wide as your paper.
Step 2: Tree cookie
On the left of the plate, draw a tree: 3 steps getting wider, and a short trunk.
Tip Keep the corners soft and round, like baked dough.
Step 3: Star cookie
In the middle of the plate, draw a fat star with 5 points.
Step 4: Bell cookie
On the right, draw a bell: a little knob, a round top, a wide rim and a bump below.
Step 5: Tree icing
Inside the tree, draw the same tree shape a little smaller, without the trunk.
Tip Leave an even strip of cookie showing all the way round.
Step 6: Star icing
Inside the star, draw the same star shape a little smaller.
Step 7: Bell icing
Inside the bell, draw the same bell shape a little smaller.
Step 8: The table
Start left of the plate. Draw a straight table line behind it and stop on the right.
Step 9: Yellow and tan
Colour the star icing yellow. Colour the edge of every cookie tan, around the icing.
Step 10: Blue plate
Colour the plate sky blue, going around the 3 cookies.
Step 11: Red bell
Colour the bell icing red, right up to its line.
Step 12: Green tree
Colour the tree icing green. Your Christmas cookies are done!
