How to Draw a Hashtag
Draw a hashtag in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top bar.
Step 1: The top bar
A little above the middle, draw a fat flat bar from left to right, with rounded ends.
Step 2: First slanted bar
Draw a tall fat bar leaning right, crossing the flat bar near its left end, poking out above and below.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Where the slanted bar crosses the top bar, draw 2 big eyes with a black dot and shine.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes, draw a small U smile inside the slanted bar, from under one eye to the other.
Step 5: Second slanted bar
Draw a second tall fat bar leaning the same way, crossing the flat bar near its right end.
Step 6: The bottom bar
Lower down, draw another fat flat bar as long as the top one, leaving a small hole in the middle.
Step 7: Sparkle on the left
Up on the left of the hashtag, draw a small sparkle star, like a curvy plus sign.
Step 8: Sparkle on the right
Down on the right of the hashtag, draw another small sparkle star to match.
Step 9: The floor
Draw a floor line across the paper, touching the bottoms of both slanted bars.
Step 10: Blue hashtag
Colour the whole hashtag blue, going around the face. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 2 sparkles yellow. Your bubble hashtag is done!
