How to Draw a Small Intestine
Draw a small intestine in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: right bumps.
Step 1: Right bumps
Right of the middle, start near the top. Draw 3 big round bumps down to near the bottom.
Tip Make the 3 bumps the same size, like a letter B with one more bump.
Step 2: Top edge
Start on top of the right bumps. Draw a wavy line left, then curve up to a stop.
Step 3: The way in
Start there. Draw a flat end to the left, come straight down, then curve in and stop.
Step 4: Left bumps
Start where you stopped. Draw 2 big round bumps down the left side. Stop a little above the bottom.
Step 5: The way out
Start under the right bumps. Draw the same upside down: a pipe going down. Stop at the left bumps.
Step 6: Lines from the left
From each of the 3 left dips draw a wavy line across. Stop a finger short of the right side.
Tip These lines turn the shape into one long tube folded back and forth.
Step 7: Lines from the right
From the 2 dips on the right draw a wavy line across. Stop a finger short of the left side.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars in the empty space: 2 on the right and 1 on the left.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 3 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Pink tube
Colour the whole tube pink. Go over your lines and your small intestine is done!
