How to Draw a Halloween Cupcake
Draw a Halloween cupcake in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: paper cup.
Step 1: Paper cup
Start below the middle on the left. Draw a wide U with a flat bottom and stop on the right.
Tip The cup is narrower at the bottom, like a real paper case.
Step 2: Drippy icing
Start left of the cup's top. Draw 4 wavy drips, stop right of it. Add a fat C each end.
Tip Join the tops of the 2 curves with a line that sags a little.
Step 3: Icing swirl
From each end of the sagging line draw a smaller C up and in. Join them with another sag.
Tip It is a smaller copy of the icing below.
Step 4: Little ghost
Start on the icing's top. Draw up, out for an arm, over a round head, and stop on the icing.
Tip Make the other side match: 2 stubby arms reaching up.
Step 5: Ghost face
Draw 2 oval eyes with a black dot in each. Draw a little U smile under them.
Tip A smiling ghost is a friendly ghost.
Step 6: Cup folds
Draw 5 lines down the cup. Start each at the icing and stop at the bottom.
Step 7: Sprinkles
Draw 7 little ovals on the icing: 4 on the big tier and 3 above. Tilt them different ways.
Tip Keep them away from the edges.
Step 8: The table
Start left of the cup, at its bottom. Draw a straight line and stop on the right.
Step 9: Yellow sprinkles
Colour the 7 sprinkles yellow. Leave the ghost and its eyes white.
Step 10: Orange icing
Colour the icing orange, around the sprinkles.
Step 11: Purple cup
Colour the paper cup purple.
