How to Draw a Guyana Flag
Draw a guyana flag in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the flag pole.
Step 1: The flag pole
On the left draw a tall thin pole from near the bottom to near the top. Add a ball.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Wave the top edge far out to the right, come down, wave back.
Step 3: Big arrowhead
Start at the top corner by the pole. Draw a big sideways V out to the right side and back.
Tip The point touches the middle of the right side. Finish at the bottom corner by the pole.
Step 4: Small triangle
From the same top corner draw a smaller sideways V. Its point is the very middle of the flag.
Step 5: Inner triangle
Just inside the small triangle draw another V, from the pole to near its point and back.
Tip Keep the gap thin and even. It will be a black band.
Step 6: Inner arrowhead
Start on the small triangle's top line. Draw a V just inside the big arrowhead, back to the bottom line.
Tip This thin gap stays white.
Step 7: Ground line
Draw a long flat ground line under the pole, from the left side to the right side.
Step 8: Yellow ball, grey pole
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow and the pole grey.
Step 9: Yellow arrowhead
Colour the inner arrowhead yellow. Leave the thin band around it white.
Step 10: Red triangle
Colour the inner triangle next to the pole red.
Step 11: Green corners
Colour the top and bottom corners of the flag green, outside the big arrowhead.
Step 12: Black band
Colour the thin band around the red triangle black. Go over your lines. Your Guyana flag is waving!
