How to Draw a Greek Warrior
Draw a Greek warrior in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave room above for a tall crest and below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Below the middle of the head draw 2 small oval eyes with a black dot. Add a nose and smile.
Tip Keep a gap between the eyes: the helmet's nose guard goes there.
Step 3: Greek helmet
Draw a helmet over the top, a nose guard down between the eyes, and 2 cheek guards to the jaw.
Step 4: Tall crest
Draw a tall crest on top: start on one side of the helmet, stop on the other. Add 2 lines.
Step 5: Neck and tunic
Draw 2 neck lines, then the tunic: start at one, stop at the other.
Step 6: Round shield
Over the left sleeve draw a big round shield. Inside it draw a fat upside-down V.
Tip The shield hides the whole left arm.
Step 7: Belt and strips
Draw a belt across the tunic to the shield. Add 3 lines: start at the belt, stop at the hem.
Step 8: Arm and fist
From the right sleeve draw 2 lines slanting out, closer at the wrist. Stop there and add a round fist.
Step 9: Legs
From the hem or shield draw 2 lines down for each leg, closer at the ankle. Stop above the bottom.
Step 10: Sandals and ground
Under each leg draw a sandal with a round heel and a long toe pointing out. Add a ground line.
Step 11: Spear
Draw a tall spear through the fist: start beside the helmet, stop on the ground. Add a leaf tip.
Step 12: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arm, fist and legs peach, with 2 pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Bronze armour
Colour the helmet, the chest armour, the V on the shield and the spear tip yellow.
Step 14: Red and brown
Colour the crest, skirt and shield red, around the yellow V. Colour the belt and sandals brown. All done!
