How to Draw a Doctor
Draw a doctor in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 eyes, brows, a nose and a smile. Add 2 C ears, starting and ending on the head.
Step 3: Soft hair cap
Start on the left of the head and draw round tufts over the top, down to the right. Hairline too.
Step 4: Neck and white coat
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a long coat with round shoulders, ending at the right one.
Step 5: Lapels and buttons
From each neck line slant down to a V, then a line to the hem. Add 2 buttons.
Step 6: Long sleeves
From each shoulder draw a long sleeve down to the wrist, narrower at the bottom. Add a cuff line.
Tip Rub out the coat lines inside the sleeves.
Step 7: Mitten hands
Under each sleeve draw a round mitten hand, like the bottom of an egg, with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 8: Stethoscope
Start beside the neck, draw 2 tubes round the V, meeting below it. Add a tube down to a ring.
Step 9: Trousers, shoes and ground
From the coat hem draw 2 trouser legs, narrower at the ankles, back to the hem. Add shoes and ground.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, ears and hands peach, and the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes and coat white.
Step 11: Teal shirt, grey trousers
Colour the shirt between the lapels teal, and the trousers and the stethoscope ring grey.
Step 12: Brown hair, black shoes
Colour the hair brown and the shoes black. Go over your lines and your doctor is done.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a doctor, drawn by you.
