How to Draw a Baking Grandma
Draw a baking grandma in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top of your paper draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the dress and the cake.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 round eyes with a dot in each, a tiny nose and a smile. Flick an eyelash off each.
Step 3: Round glasses
Draw a round glasses lens around each eye, with a tiny curved bridge between them.
Step 4: Hair, fringe and bun
Draw the hair over the top of the head, just above the head line, with a fringe. Add a bun.
Step 5: Neck and dress
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one draw a long dress with short sleeves, ending at the right one.
Step 6: Apron
On the dress draw an apron from the chest down to above the hem, and back up. Add a pocket.
Step 7: Bent arms
On each side draw a long sleeve bent at the elbow: down to the hip, then in toward the middle.
Step 8: Hands
At the end of each sleeve draw a round fist. The 2 fists hold the tray from underneath.
Step 9: Tray and cake
Between the fists draw a long thin tray. On top draw a dome cake with wavy icing and a cherry.
Step 10: Legs, shoes and ground
From the hem draw each leg narrowing down to the ankle. Add shoes and a ground line.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, hands and legs peach. Colour the cheeks and the icing pink. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Purple dress, grey hair
Colour the dress and sleeves purple, and the hair, bun and tray grey. Leave the apron white.
Step 13: Cake, cherry and shoes
Colour the cake under the icing and the shoes brown, and the cherry red. Your grandma is done!
