How to Draw a Scuba Diver
Draw a scuba diver in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
In the middle of the head, draw 2 small oval eyes with black dots. Add a nose and a smile.
Step 3: Dive hood
From the chin's left, draw the hood edge up round the eyes and back down to its right.
Step 4: Mask and mouthpiece
Draw a big mask over the eyes and nose, a strap on each side, and a mouthpiece by the smile.
Step 5: Wetsuit and tank
Draw 2 neck lines and the shoulders, then the sides from armpit round to armpit. Add a tank and hose.
Tip The hose loops from the tank round to the mouthpiece.
Step 6: Long sleeves
From each shoulder, draw a sleeve down to the wrist and back up to the armpit. Add a cuff line.
Step 7: Gloves
From each sleeve's bottom, draw a round glove with a thumb bump, back to the sleeve. Add a finger line.
Step 8: Wetsuit legs
Start at the waist's left corner. Draw 2 legs down to the ankles and back up to the right corner.
Step 9: Flippers and ground
From each ankle, draw a flat flipper stretching out to the side, down to the ground. Add a ground line.
Step 10: Peach face
Colour the face under the mask peach.
Step 11: Yellow gear, blue mask
Colour the tank, hose, mouthpiece, gloves and flippers yellow. Colour the mask glass light blue. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Dark wetsuit and hood
Colour the hood and wetsuit dark grey, around the gear. Go over your lines and your diver is done.
