How to Draw a Soccer Player
Draw a soccer player in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small oval eyes with black dots, a tiny U nose, a smile and 2 eyebrows.
Step 3: Tufty hair
Start on the left by the eyebrows. Draw soft tufts over the head, stopping on the right. Add a hairline.
Step 4: Neck and jersey
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a jersey with short sleeves, ending at the right one.
Step 5: Arms
From each sleeve, draw 2 curved lines down to the wrist, bending out a little at the elbow.
Step 6: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm, draw a round mitten hand with a little thumb pointing in.
Step 7: Shorts
Start at the bottom left of the jersey. Draw shorts down, up between the legs, back to the right corner.
Step 8: Legs and long socks
Start on each shorts leg. Draw 2 wavy lines down, stopping above the bottom. Add a sock curve.
Step 9: Boots and ground
Under each leg, draw a football boot with the toe pointing out. Draw a ground line under the boots.
Step 10: Football
At the right boot, draw a big round ball. Add a 5-sided patch and 5 lines out to edge patches.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, neck, arms, hands and knees peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Red jersey, ginger hair
Colour the jersey red, leaving the number white. Colour the hair ginger.
Step 13: Navy shorts, black boots
Colour the shorts navy and the boots and ball patches black. Leave the socks and ball white. Done!
