How to Draw Goulash
Draw goulash in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little above the middle draw a wide flat oval for the top of the bowl, about a hand across.
Step 2: The bowl
From the left end of the oval draw a big deep U down and round, ending at the right end.
Step 3: The foot
Under the bowl draw a short stand. Start at the bottom left, go down and across, stopping at the right.
Step 4: The gravy
Inside the rim draw a second flat oval a finger inside it, for the gravy.
Step 5: Chunks of beef
In the gravy draw 2 lumpy chunks of beef, one on the left and one in the middle.
Step 6: Peppers and potato
Right of the middle chunk draw a chunky 5-sided potato, and 2 short fat pepper strips lower down.
Step 7: Sour cream
Left of the middle chunk draw a small wobbly blob of sour cream, sitting in the gravy.
Step 8: Spoon and steam
On the right draw a spoon standing in the goulash, handle leaning up right. Add 3 wiggly steam lines above.
Step 9: Stripe and hearts
Under the rim draw a bowed line round the bowl, side to side, and 3 little hearts under it.
Step 10: The table
Draw a line under the foot from left to right, just touching its bottom.
Step 11: Orange pepper, tan potato
Colour the pepper strips orange and the potato tan, leaving the cream white.
Step 12: Blue hearts, grey spoon
Colour the hearts and the band blue, the rest of the bowl and its rim white, and the spoon grey.
Step 13: Red gravy, brown beef
Go over your lines, then colour the beef brown and the gravy red around the food.
