How to Draw a Goose Face
Draw a goose face in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round head.
Step 1: Round head
Start low on the left. Draw a round head like an upside-down U, and stop low on the right.
Step 2: Pointed bill
On the front of the head, draw a long pointed bill sticking out to the left.
Tip A goose bill is a long wedge, wide at the head and narrow at the tip.
Step 3: Smiling mouth
Start near the tip of the bill. Draw a mouth line back to the head, dipping like a smile.
Step 4: One big eye
High on the head, behind the bill, draw a big round eye with a black dot and a white shine.
Step 5: Long neck
From each end of the head, draw a long gently curving line down, stopping near the bottom of the page.
Tip Keep the two lines the same distance apart all the way down.
Step 6: Chinstrap patch
Start under the bill. Draw a bean-shaped patch round the cheek, below the eye, and stop on the throat.
Step 7: The pond
From the left edge, draw a wavy line under the neck to the right edge. Add 2 ripples.
Step 8: Blue water
Colour the water blue under the wavy line, all the way across the page.
Step 9: Grey bill
Colour the long pointed bill grey.
Step 10: Black head and neck
Colour the head and neck black, around the grey bill. Leave the chinstrap patch and the eye white.
