How to Draw a Paca

Draw a paca in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big blunt head.

Step 1: Big blunt head
On the left, draw a big round head that ends in a blunt, round nose at the front.
Tip Leave lots of room on the right for the body.
Step 2: Small round ear
On the back of the head top, draw a small round ear with a little circle inside.
Step 3: One big eye
High on the head, draw one big round eye. Colour a black dot in it and leave a white shine.
Tip We see the paca from the side, so only 1 eye shows.
Step 4: Nose and smile
Near the front, draw a small round nose. From under it, draw a short smile curving back, then stop.
Step 5: Round body
From behind the head, draw a big round body with a high bottom. Stop under the cheek.
Tip No neck and no tail: the back grows out of the head.
Step 6: Front leg
Start under the cheek. Draw a short leg down to a round paw, and stop on the tummy.
Tip Rub out the tummy line inside the leg.
Step 7: Back leg
Start on the tummy near the back. Draw a short leg and a round paw, and stop on the bottom.
Tip Rub out the body line inside the leg.
Step 8: Far legs
Add 2 legs peeking out from behind, one next to each near leg. Only draw the parts you can see.
Step 9: Rows of spots
Along the side, draw 3 rows of 4 oval spots, like dotted lines that follow the back.
Tip Keep every spot inside the body, away from the head and legs.
Step 10: Toes and ground
Draw a ground line under the paws. Add short toe lines: 2 on near paws, 1 on far paws.
Step 11: Cream spots
Colour every spot cream.
Step 12: Peach nose and ear
Colour the nose and the inside of the ear peach.
Step 13: Brown fur
Colour the head, ear, body and legs brown, around the cream and peach. Leave the eye white.
