How to Draw a Gold Bar
Draw a gold bar in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front.
Step 1: The front
In the middle draw a wide brick shape with sloping sides, wider at the bottom than the top.
Tip A gold bar is a brick with sloping sides, like an upside-down loaf tin.
Step 2: 2 eyes
In the middle of the front draw 2 round eyes close together. Add a big black dot in each.
Step 3: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Start under the left eye and stop under the right eye.
Step 4: The top
From the top corners draw 2 short slanted lines up to the right. Join them with a line across.
Step 5: The side
From the bottom right corner draw a short line slanting up a little. Join it up to the top's back corner.
Step 6: Gleam and star
On the top, near the left corner, draw one short slanted line: the gleam. Add a little star stamp.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars on each side of the bar: a big one up high and a smaller one lower down.
Step 8: Floor and shadow
Draw a floor line under the bar. Add a flat oval shadow around the bottom of the bar, on the line.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour 2 pink cheeks beside the smile, and colour the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Gold front and top
Colour the front and the top gold yellow, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Orange side, grey shadow
Colour the side ginger orange and the shadow grey. Go over your lines. Your gold bar is done!
