How to Draw a Fax Machine
Draw a fax machine in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the machine.
Step 1: The machine
Below the middle of your paper draw a wide box with soft corners. Make the bottom a little wider.
Tip Leave lots of room above for the paper.
Step 2: Paper on top
On top of the box draw a tall sheet of paper standing up, right of the middle.
Step 3: The handset
Down the left side of the box draw a phone handset: a long bone shape with 2 round ends.
Tip The phone on the side is how you know it is a fax machine.
Step 4: Handset ends
Draw a short line across the handset under the top end, and another above the bottom end.
Step 5: The screen
Along the top of the box, right of the handset, draw a long thin screen with soft corners.
Step 6: Number buttons
Under the screen draw 9 small round buttons: 3 across and 3 down.
Step 7: Two big buttons
Right of the number buttons draw 2 bigger round buttons, one above the other.
Step 8: Writing lines
On the paper draw 3 lines across, one under the other. Make the last one shorter.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the machine, starting past its left side and stopping past its right side.
Step 10: Cream paper, blue screen
Colour the paper cream, around the writing lines. Colour the screen light blue.
Step 11: Grey machine
Colour the box grey, around the handset, the screen and all the buttons. Leave them white.
Step 12: Green and red buttons
Colour the top big button green and the bottom one red. Leave the 9 small buttons white.
Step 13: Dark handset
Colour the handset dark grey. Go over your lines and your fax machine is done!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a fax machine, drawn by you.
