How to Draw a Goblet
Draw a goblet in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
High on your paper, draw a wide flat oval about a hand wide, for the top of the cup.
Step 2: The cup
From the oval's left end, draw a deep bowl with a narrow flat bottom, up to its right end.
Tip A deep round bowl, wider at the top.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the cup, a little below the rim, draw 2 big egg eyes with a black dot and white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a wide U smile under the eyes, and a small oval cheek beside each end, not touching the eyes.
Step 5: The stem
From the cup's flat bottom, draw 2 thin lines close together, going down and flaring out at the end.
Step 6: A bead
Halfway down the stem, draw a small flat oval across it, like a bead.
Step 7: The foot
From the bottom of the stem, curve out each side like a little dome, down to a wide flat bottom.
Tip Like a little upside-down saucer.
Step 8: Jewels
On the front of the foot, draw 3 small diamonds in a row.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw a little sparkle up to the left of the rim and a smaller one up to the right.
Step 10: The table
Draw a table line from edge to edge, just touching the bottom of the foot.
Step 11: Golden goblet
Colour the cup, stem, bead and foot yellow, around the eyes, cheeks and jewels, then the rim oval orange.
Tip Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 13: Red jewels
Colour the 3 jewels red, and your goblet is done!
