How to Draw a Laser
Draw a laser in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the handle.
Step 1: The handle
Draw a long box leaning to the left, about twice as long as wide. Make its bottom corners round.
Tip Leave lots of room at the top left for the laser beam.
Step 2: The tip
Start on the top end of the handle. Draw 3 sides of a small box and stop on the handle.
Tip This is where the light comes out.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle of the handle draw 2 round eyes side by side. Add a black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: The button
Above the eyes, in the middle of the handle, draw a small long oval for the button.
Step 6: End ring
Near the bottom of the handle draw 1 line across it, from side to side.
Step 7: The laser beam
From the middle of the tip draw 2 long straight lines, close together. Stop near the top corner.
Tip Use a ruler if you like. A laser beam is perfectly straight.
Step 8: The flash
At the end of the beam draw a spiky star with 8 points. Draw a small circle in its middle.
Tip The star is the flash where the laser hits.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars in the empty corners, one bigger than the other.
Step 10: Yellow dot
Colour the dot in the star and the sparkles yellow. Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Red laser beam
Colour the beam, the star around the yellow dot, and the button red.
Step 12: Blue pointer
Colour the handle blue around the eyes, cheeks and button. Colour the tip grey. Leave the eyes white.
