How to Draw a Glue Stick
Draw a glue stick in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tube.
Step 1: The tube
Start on the left, a third down the page. Draw a tall box with no top, stopping on the right.
Step 2: The collar
Across the open top draw a flat band a little wider than the tube, like a thin box lying down.
Step 3: A happy face
In the middle of the tube draw 2 big round eyes, and a wide U smile under them.
Step 4: The glue
From the collar draw 2 short lines up, a little in from each end. Join them with a round dome.
Step 5: The label
Above the face, start on the left edge and draw a line across to the right. Same below the face.
Step 6: The twist base
Near the bottom draw a line from the left edge across to the right. Add 4 short lines under it.
Step 7: Rosy cheeks
Draw a small oval cheek beside each end of the smile.
Step 8: The cap
Beside the tube draw a wide cap, round on top, with a line near the top. Add a ground line.
Step 9: Cream glue, peach cheeks
Colour the glue cream and the cheeks peach. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Grey collar
Colour the collar grey, from one end to the other.
Step 11: Purple tube and cap
Colour the tube, twist base and cap purple, leaving the label white. Go over your lines and you are done!
