How to Draw a Girl Face
Draw a girl face in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
In the upper middle of your paper draw a big egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it big, and leave room at the sides for the pigtails.
Step 2: Big eyes and lashes
Draw 2 big oval eyes below the middle of the head. Add a black dot, a shine and a lash.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Draw a tiny U nose between the eyes. Add a wide smile under it, eye to eye, and 2 eyebrows.
Step 4: Hair and fringe
Start on the head's left side. Draw hair over the top, then 3 soft bumps back for the fringe.
Step 5: Pigtails
Draw a pigtail each side: start high on the hair, loop out and down, stop on the cheek.
Step 6: Hair ties
Where each pigtail meets the hair, draw a small circle for the hair tie.
Step 7: Freckles
Put 3 tiny dots on each cheek for freckles.
Step 8: Neck and dress
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. Slope shoulders out from them, then down to the bottom. Add a collar.
Step 9: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour a pink circle on each cheek. Colour the face and neck peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Yellow hair, red ties
Colour the hair and the pigtails yellow, and the hair ties red.
Step 11: Purple dress
Colour the dress purple. Go over your lines.
