How to Draw a Gas Pump
Draw a gas pump in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the front.
Step 1: The front
Left of the middle draw a tall box for the pump's front, much taller than wide, like a door.
Step 2: Top and side
Add a slanted top above the front and a slanted side on the right, like a tissue box.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Low on the front draw 2 big egg eyes, close together. Colour a black dot in each, leaving shines.
Step 4: The screen
Near the top of the front draw a wide rounded screen box, with 2 short lines inside for the numbers.
Step 5: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Add a small flat oval cheek out beside each end of it.
Step 6: The nozzle
On the right side, below the top, draw the nozzle: a fat upside-down L with a chunky grip hanging down.
Step 7: The hose
Start under the nozzle grip. Loop a long hose out to the right and back, stopping lower on the side.
Tip Make the loop big and round, like a hanging rope.
Step 8: Feet and floor
Under the front draw 2 short square feet. Then draw a floor line under them, from left to right.
Step 9: Sky screen, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the screen sky blue and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Red pump
Colour the front and top red, around the screen and the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Slate side and nozzle
Colour the side, the feet and the nozzle slate grey. Your gas pump is ready to fill up!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a gas pump, drawn by you.
