How to Draw a Diving Helmet
Draw a diving helmet in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round helmet.
Step 1: Big round helmet
In the middle of your paper draw one big circle, leaving room at the bottom.
Step 2: Window
In the middle of the circle draw a smaller circle, about half as wide, for the glass window.
Step 3: Face in the window
Inside the window draw 2 big egg eyes with black dots, a little U smile and 2 cheeks.
Step 4: Window frame
Round the window draw a second circle a finger further out, for a thick frame.
Step 5: Side windows
On each side of the window, halfway to the edge, draw a small tall oval for a side window.
Step 6: Collar
Start under the helmet on the left. Draw a wide collar down, across and up, and stop on the helmet.
Step 7: Bolts
Along the bottom of the collar, draw a row of 5 little round bolts.
Step 8: Top valve
Start on the top of the helmet. Draw a short tube up, with an oval top, and stop on it.
Step 9: Sparkles and a table
Draw a sparkle star off each side of the top. Draw a table line under the collar, left to right.
Step 10: Yellow parts
Colour the collar, the window frame, the valve and the sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Sky glass, pink cheeks
Colour the window and the side windows sky blue, leaving the eyes white. Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Brass helmet
Colour the helmet ginger, going around the window and side windows. Go over your lines and it is done!
