How to Draw a Console
Draw a console in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the console.
Step 1: The console
Across the middle, a little left, draw a long flat box with rounded corners, twice as wide as tall.
Step 2: Slot, vents and light
On the left end, draw a thin bar for the disc slot and 3 vent lines. Add a tiny light.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the right part of the box, draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Add black dots with shines.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: The controller
To the right of the box, draw a small rounded box lying down, with a gap between them.
Step 6: Buttons
On the controller, draw a little plus sign on the left and 2 small round buttons on the right.
Step 7: The cord
From the right side of the console, draw a soft cord dipping down, then up into the controller.
Step 8: The floor
Draw a floor line under both, from just left of the console to just right of the controller.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars above the console and controller, like little plus signs with curvy sides.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red buttons, green light
Colour the 2 round buttons red and the little light green.
Step 12: Slate console
Colour the controller grey and the console slate, going around the buttons, face and light. Make the slot black.
