How to Draw a Funnel
Draw a funnel in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
Near the top draw a big wide flat oval. Add a second oval a finger inside, for a thick rim.
Step 2: The cone
From each end of the oval draw a long slanted line down and in. Join them with a small curve.
Tip Leave a gap two fingers wide at the bottom. Both sides slant the same.
Step 3: Two big eyes
High on the cone draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile.
Step 5: Rosy cheeks
Beside each end of the smile draw a small flat oval cheek.
Step 6: The spout
From the bottom of the cone draw 2 lines straight down. Join them with a small curve.
Tip The spout is a thin tube, a little narrower at the bottom.
Step 7: Spout band
Near the top of the spout draw a small curve across it, from side to side.
Step 8: Grey inside
Colour the inside of the rim light grey.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Red funnel
Colour the rim, cone and spout red, around the face. Leave the eyes white. Your funnel is ready to pour!
