How to Draw Fried Chicken
Draw fried chicken in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: bucket top.
Step 1: Bucket top
Below the middle of your paper draw a flat oval for the top of the bucket, a hand wide.
Step 2: The bucket
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw down, across the bottom and up to the right end.
Step 3: Stripes
Draw 4 lines down the bucket from the rim to the bottom, 2 on each side.
Step 4: Two drumsticks
Sticking out of the bucket, draw a bumpy lump of meat on the left and one on the right.
Tip Put the soft bumps on the big round end, so the chicken looks crispy.
Step 5: Middle drumstick
Between them, a little lower, draw a third bumpy lump tucked behind the other 2.
Step 6: Bones
From the thin end of each lump draw a long bone sticking out, with 2 little rounds on its end.
Step 7: Steam
Start a little above the bones and draw 2 short wiggly steam lines going straight up.
Step 8: Table line
Under the bucket draw a long straight table line, starting and stopping near the edges of the paper.
Step 9: Cream bones
Go over your lines, then colour the bones and knuckles cream.
Step 10: Grey rim
Colour the top of the bucket grey, around the drumsticks.
Step 11: Ginger chicken
Colour the 3 lumps of meat ginger.
Step 12: Red stripes
Colour every other band of the bucket red, leaving the rest white.
