How to Draw an Open Fridge
Draw an open fridge in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the fridge.
Step 1: The fridge
Left of the middle draw a tall box for the fridge, more than twice as tall as it is wide.
Tip With the door open you can see the shelves inside.
Step 2: The open door
From the top right corner draw the door, slanting up and right, straight down, then back to the bottom corner.
Tip Make the door's far edge a little taller than the fridge, so it swings toward you.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the door draw 2 big egg eyes a little apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Inside and shelves
Inside the fridge draw a second box. Add 3 shelf lines, from the left wall across to the right wall.
Step 6: Milk and an apple
On the top shelf draw a milk carton with a pointy top and fold line. Add an apple below.
Step 7: Cheese and a jar
Left on the middle shelf draw a cheese triangle. On the bottom shelf draw a short jar with a lid.
Step 8: Door handle
On the far edge of the door draw a long thin bar sticking out a little, for the handle.
Step 9: Feet and floor
Under the fridge draw 2 little square feet, then a floor line across the page under them.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Colour the cheese yellow, and the jar and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Green apple, blue milk
Colour the apple green and the milk carton blue.
Step 12: Red fridge
Go over your lines. Colour the fridge and door red around the cheeks, leaving the eyes and inside white.
Step 13: Slate handle and feet
Colour the handle, the jar's lid and the feet slate grey. Your fridge is full!
