How to Draw a Cheer Pom Pom
Draw a cheer pom pom in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: fluffy ball.
Step 1: Fluffy ball
Above the middle of your paper draw a big fluffy ball, with round streamer tips all the way round.
Tip Each tip is a soft finger shape. Make some a little longer than others.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Draw 2 big egg eyes in the middle of the ball. Give each a black dot and a white shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile. Draw a small flat oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: Streamers behind
In each gap between 2 tips draw a small round tip peeking out. Skip the 2 gaps at the bottom.
Tip These are the streamers at the back of the pom-pom.
Step 5: Short handle
Under the ball draw a short fat handle with a round end. Start and stop at the ball.
Step 6: Streamer lines
Draw 6 curvy lines. Start each one near the face and stop in a gap between 2 big tips.
Step 7: Grip band
Across the middle of the handle draw a band, a little wider than the handle.
Step 8: Yellow tips and band
Go over your lines. Colour the small tips at the back and the grip band yellow.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Red ball
Colour the ball red, around the face and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Blue handle
Colour the handle blue, around the yellow band. Your cheer pom-pom is done!
