How to Draw a Four-Leaf Clover

9 steps · Medium · about 7 min

Draw a four-leaf clover in 9 easy steps, about 7 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: top leaf.

Print

  1. Step 1: Top leaf

In the middle of your paper pick a point. From it draw a heart pointing up, back to the point.

  2. Step 2: Bottom leaf

From the same point draw the same heart pointing straight down.

  3. Step 3: Left and right leaves

From the same point draw a heart pointing left and one pointing right, so 4 hearts meet like a plus.

  4. Step 4: Leaf lines

Inside each leaf draw one straight line from near the middle up to the notch.

  5. Step 5: Stem

Start under the bottom leaf. Draw 2 wiggly lines down, getting a little wider apart. Stop near the bottom.

  6. Step 6: Ground line

Start near the left edge. Draw a soft ground line under the stem, stopping near the right edge.

  7. Step 7: Grass tufts

Add 2 small grass tufts on the ground, one on each side, away from the stem.

  8. Step 8: Green leaves

Colour all 4 leaves leaf green.

  9. Step 9: Green stem

Colour the stem green. Go over your lines. Done!
