How to Draw a Fork
Draw a fork in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Start near the top left. Draw a wide U that narrows to a short flat neck. Stop top right.
Tip Wide at the top, narrow at the neck. Leave the top open.
Step 2: 4 prongs
From the U's left tip draw 4 tall round-topped prongs with 3 small slots, ending on the right tip.
Tip 4 tall upside-down Us side by side, with no line under them.
Step 3: Two big eyes
A finger below the prongs draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Draw a U smile from under the left eye to the right eye. Add a small cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The handle
Start at the neck's left. Draw a long line down, round the flared end, back up to the neck.
Tip A long skinny strip that flares out to a round end.
Step 6: A neck line
Across the handle just under the neck draw one short line from side to side, like a little collar.
Step 7: A shine
Down the handle, near its left edge, draw one long light line from near the top to past the middle.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 2 sparkle stars off to the right of the fork, one big and one small.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Grey fork
Go over your lines. Colour the fork grey around the pink cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Ready for dinner!
