How to Draw a Football Jersey
Draw a football jersey in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the body.
Step 1: The body
Draw a big box, a bit taller than wide, with a sagging bottom and a rainbow bump on top.
Tip The rainbow bump is the back of the neck.
Step 2: V-neck
From the left end of the rainbow draw a V down onto the chest and up to the right end.
Step 3: Soft sleeves
From each top corner draw a droopy sleeve: out and down, a slanted cuff, then back to the box side.
Step 4: Block number 1
On the left of the chest draw a tall block 1 with a little slanted flag at the top.
Tip Draw block numbers like a real jersey: go round the outside of each.
Step 5: Thick number 0
Next to the 1 draw a tall oval for the 0. Draw a skinny oval inside it.
Step 6: Cuff bands
On each sleeve, a finger above the cuff, draw a line from the outside edge down to the underside.
Step 7: Collar band
Inside the V-neck draw a smaller V. Start and stop on its arms, near the top.
Step 8: Hem band
A finger above the hem, draw a shallow U from the left side across to the right side.
Step 9: Hanger and hook
From each shoulder draw a line up to a point above the neck. Add a stem and a curly hook.
Tip The hook is a short stem up, then a candy-cane curl to the left.
Step 10: Sleeve stripes
Above each cuff band draw 2 more slanted lines the same way, from the outside edge down to the underside.
Step 11: Red jersey
Colour the jersey red, leaving the collar band, sleeve stripes, hem band and numbers white. Go over your lines.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a football jersey, drawn by you.
