How to Draw an Earring
Draw an earring in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the hook.
Step 1: The hook
Draw a tall thin rainbow up from the middle and over to the right. Stop at a little ball.
Tip Like a fish hook turned upside down.
Step 2: Ring and gem
Under the hook draw a small ring. Hanging from it draw a big teardrop, pointy on top and fat below.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
In the round part of the gem draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: A shine
High on the left, just inside the edge, draw a long thin sliver for the shine.
Step 6: 2 big sparkles
Draw 2 big sparkle stars, one high on the left and one on the right.
Step 7: 2 little sparkles
Lower down, draw 2 little sparkle stars, one on each side.
Step 8: Gold ring and ball
Colour the ring and the little ball gold yellow, and colour the sparkles yellow too.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the 2 cheeks pink.
Step 10: Purple gem
Colour the gem purple, going around the face and the white shine. Leave the eyes white. Your earring is done!
