How to Draw a Football Helmet
Draw a football helmet in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the shell.
Step 1: The shell
In the middle, draw a big round helmet from the side. Bite a big C out of the front.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the side of the shell, draw 2 big round eyes, a finger apart. Add black dots with shines.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw one wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek at each end.
Step 4: The face mask
From the bite's top corner, draw a thick C bar to its bottom corner. Add 2 thick bars across.
Tip Draw each bar with 2 lines, like a straw.
Step 5: Ear hole
Near the back, level with the star, draw a small round ear hole.
Step 6: Stripe and star
Over the top of the helmet, draw 2 curved lines close together. Under the smile, draw a star.
Step 7: Ground and shadow
Under the helmet, draw a long flat oval shadow. Add a ground line from each end, stopping near the edges.
Step 8: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars around the helmet, like little plus signs with curvy sides.
Step 9: Yellow star, pink cheeks
Colour the star yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 10: Grey mask and shadow
Colour the face mask, ear hole and shadow grey. Go over your lines.
Step 11: Blue shell
Colour the helmet blue around the cheeks, star and ear hole. Leave the stripe and eyes white.
