11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a folder in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: back and tab.

Print

  1. Step 1: Back and tab

In the middle draw a big square with a little tab sticking up from its top left corner.

  2. Step 2: The front

Inside it, a thumb below the top, draw a wide box for the front flap, sharing the sides and bottom.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

In the middle of the front flap draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, and a small oval cheek at each end.

  5. Step 5: Papers peeking out

Above the flap draw papers peeking out: from the flap's top edge go up, across, and down to the flap.

  6. Step 6: Tab label and sticker

On the tab draw a short label line. In the bottom right of the flap draw a little heart sticker.

  7. Step 7: Sparkles

Draw 3 sparkle stars around the folder.

  8. Step 8: Table line

Draw a long table line under the folder, from the left side of the paper to the right.

  9. Step 9: Tan folder

Colour the flap, back and tab tan, going around the face and the heart. Leave the papers white.

    Tip Leave the eyes white.

  10. Step 10: Red heart, pink cheeks

Colour the heart sticker red and the cheeks pink.

  11. Step 11: Yellow sparkles

Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow. Your folder is done!
