How to Draw a Kitchen Table
Draw a kitchen table in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tablecloth.
Step 1: The tablecloth
Across the middle draw a wide cloth: a long line on top, short sides, and soft bumps along the bottom.
Tip Leave room below for the legs and above for a bowl of fruit.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the cloth draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye, with a little oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The table edge
Draw a line across the cloth a little under the top, where the cloth folds over the table.
Step 5: Two legs
Under each end of the cloth draw a tall leg that gets a little thinner down to near the bottom.
Step 6: The fruit bowl
On the table draw a rim line from left to right, then hang a wide U from end to end.
Step 7: Three fruits
Peeking over the rim draw 3 round fruits: a big one in the middle and a lower one each side.
Step 8: Stems
On the 2 outer fruits draw a short stem: start on the fruit, curve up a bit, and stop.
Step 9: The floor
Draw a floor line from the left edge to the right edge, just touching the bottom of the legs.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow cloth
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, then the cloth yellow around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Red and orange fruit
Colour the 2 outer fruits red and the middle one orange.
Step 12: Wood legs, blue bowl
Colour the legs wood brown and the bowl blue, and your kitchen table is set!
