How to Draw Ice Pop Molds
Draw ice pop molds in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the stand.
Step 1: The stand
A little below the middle draw a wide low box with soft corners, for the stand.
Step 2: Middle pop
Standing in the middle of the stand draw a tall box with soft top corners, like a fat finger.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Near the top draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Little smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile from under the left eye to under the right eye.
Step 5: 2 more pops
On each side draw a shorter pop standing in the stand, the same width, one a bit taller.
Step 6: The sticks
From the top of each pop draw a short thin stick poking straight up.
Step 7: Mold rims
Where each pop meets the stand, draw a flat band a little wider than the pop, for the mold rim.
Step 8: Ground line
Draw a straight ground line under the stand, from near the left edge across to near the right edge.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 10: Yellow and orange
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the 2 side pops orange.
Step 11: Red middle pop
Colour the middle pop red, leaving the eyes white.
Step 12: Wood sticks, purple stand
Colour the sticks wood brown, and the stand and the mold rims purple.
