How to Draw a Flower Pot
Draw a flower pot in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pot rim.
Step 1: The pot rim
Below the middle of your paper draw a wide flat box for the rim, as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The pot
Start just in from the rim's left end. Draw a line down, across and back up to its right end.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the pot draw 2 big eggy eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a white speck.
Step 4: A big smile
Leave a little gap under the eyes and draw a wide U smile from eye to eye.
Step 5: A bendy stem
From the middle of the rim, draw 2 bendy stem lines up, stopping a hand high, closer at the top.
Step 6: Two leaves
Halfway up the stem draw a fat leaf out to the left and back. Same on the right.
Step 7: A little flower
From the stem top, draw 5 round petals in a ring, back to the stem. Circle the middle.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long straight line along the bottom of the pot, out past both sides, for the table.
Step 9: Yellow and pink
Colour the flower's middle yellow and its petals pink. Add 2 pink cheeks under the eyes.
Step 10: Green stem and leaves
Colour the stem and both leaves leaf green.
Step 11: Ginger pot
Colour the pot and rim ginger, going around the eyes, smile and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
