How to Draw a Flower Heart

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a flower heart in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the heart.

Print

  1. Step 1: The heart

In the middle, draw a big heart as wide as your hand, starting and ending at the top dip.

Tip The flowers sit on this line, so it will be mostly hidden.

  2. Step 2: The bottom flower

On the bottom point of the heart draw a big flower: 5 round petals round a little circle.

  3. Step 3: Flowers up the left

On the heart line draw 3 more flowers up the left side and over the left bump, evenly spaced.

  4. Step 4: Flowers up the right

Draw 3 flowers up the right side the same way, so 7 flowers go all the way round.

  5. Step 5: Leaves on the right

On the right half, draw 3 little pointed leaves poking out of the heart, one between each pair of flowers.

  6. Step 6: Leaves on the left

Draw 3 more leaves the same way between the flowers on the left half.

  7. Step 7: Yellow middles

    Colour every flower middle yellow.

  8. Step 8: Pink flowers

Colour the 3 flowers on the left half pink.

  9. Step 9: Green leaves

    Colour all 6 leaves green.

  10. Step 10: Red flowers

Colour the other 4 flowers red. Go over your lines and your flower heart is done!
