How to Draw a Flower Frame
Draw a flower frame in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: outside of the frame.
Step 1: Outside of the frame
Draw a big square with softly rounded corners, nearly as big as your paper.
Step 2: Inside of the frame
Inside it draw a smaller square a finger in from every side, so the 2 lines make a band.
Tip The middle stays empty for a picture.
Step 3: Corner flowers
In each corner of the band draw a flower: 5 round petals round a little circle.
Step 4: 2 small flowers
In the middle of the top band and the middle of the bottom band draw a smaller 5-petal flower.
Step 5: Leaves top and bottom
Along the top band draw 2 little pointed leaves each side of the flower. Do the same along the bottom.
Step 6: Leaves down the sides
Down each side band draw 2 little leaves above the middle pointing down and 2 below pointing up.
Step 7: Yellow small flowers
Go over your lines, then colour the petals of the 2 small flowers yellow.
Step 8: Tan band
Colour the band of the frame tan, around the flowers and leaves.
Step 9: Pink and orange
Colour the petals of the 4 corner flowers pink, then every flower middle orange.
Step 10: Green top and bottom
Colour the 8 leaves along the top and bottom green.
Step 11: Green sides
Colour the 8 leaves down both sides green. Your flower frame is done!
